"Giving birth was the hardest and most rewarding things I have ever done. At times I felt like I honestly couldn't go on, and I felt that I was going to be a failure - but I chose to surround myself with people that I trusted and loved that would guide me in the birth of my dreams. I couldn't have done it without my husband who rooted for me and called me a gangster the entire time, he had absolute faith that I would deliver him a beautiful daughter. But the person I really needed was my dear friend Madi. Madi paved the way with the birth of her son and showed me that women are amazing goddesses and capable of the most precious gifts of life. Without her guidance as a mother and her services as my Doula, I wouldn't haven't been able to walk through it. She checked in on me almost everyday in preparation of my due date. When my water broke, I called her first, then my husband. She came to my house immediately (this was also during one of our recent stormy nights in February). She drove with my husband and me to my birth center and took charge. She knew what I needed throughout my labor, even if I didn't have the words to say what I needed. After the birth of my daughter, Madi drove us home and made sure were settled in and comfortable. Madi also provides services to encapsulate placentas, which she did for me. She brought it over with my umbilical cord beautifully dried out in the shape of a heart - something I'll be able to cherish for the rest of my life.

Madi's doula services were a HUGE significance to my pregnancy, birth of my daughter, and post partum. We love her so much and couldn't have done it without her.

Best wishes,

Rachel Blair

"Thank you for the magical postpartum pills! Even the packaging was almost too pretty for our medicine cabinet. I hope my wife doesn't kill me when I say this, but the month following our baby's birth may have been the most balanced we've known."
